CAVE EXPLORATION

The Aigamas cave is probably one of the most unique caves in Namibia. Featuring: simple and advanced exploration, studies in science and cave diving.

In the Aigamas cave you can explore the blind endemic cave catfish, Clarias Cavernicola. Besides those, we have some young stalactites, bats in the high canopies and a truly unique cave.  

The main cave has been equipped with ladders and stairs for easy and safe access. All you need are sturdy shoes and an adventurous spirit.

The cave with its surroundings was the focus of various scientific studies. Examining the bats, cave floor with all in it and, of course, our golden cave catfish.

There is actually an array of entrances to the cave structure and water. They are just much more difficult to enter. Giving a challenge for professionals.
